TAXES FOR OIL PALM PLANTATION IN MALAYSIA

1. Corporate Tax : 25 per cent
2. MPOB Cess : RM11.00 per tonne CPO
3. Windfall Profit Levy : 15 per cent above RM2,500 / tonne CPO in Peninsular ; 7.5 per cent above RM3,000 / tonne CPO in Sabah & Sarawak
4. Foreign Workers Levy : RM590 / worker / annum
5. Sabah Sales Tax : 7.5 per cent when CPO price is above RM1,000 per tonne
6. Sarawak Sales Tax : 2.5 per cent when CPO price is between RM1,000 & RM1,500 per tonne ; 5 per cent when CPO price is above RM1,500 per tonne
7. Sarawak Land Tax : RM5.00 / hectare / annum
